Die Open-Source E-Commerce-Plattform, PrestaShop, wurde in der Version 1.7.0.2 veröffentlicht. Dies ist das 2. Bugfix-Release nach Neuerscheinung der Major-Version 1.7 vom 7.11.2016.
PrestaShop als neuer Meilenstein in Version 1.7 bietet über 500 Funkltionen und wurde in 25 Sprachen übersetzt. Es wurde für den deutschen Markt vorzertifiziert und ermöglicht das einfache erstellen individueller Templates mit dem Starter-Template. Als Framework wurde Symfony integriert. Prestashop 1.7 ist mit PHP 7 kompatibel, was unter anderem eine schnellere Ausführung des Codes und somit den Aufruf des Shopsystems beschleunigt.
